May reflections

The month of May started in London. When everyone else was having a public holiday in Sweden, I was notebook in hand, front row at the AI for the rest of us meetup.

May was a pretty hectic month for me, as it meant working with my accountant to close the previous fiscal year while working on all my different client assignments. From preparing and hosting workshops to creating an educational session for the City of Gothenburg on AI. To create content and manage clients’ social media presence, among other tasks. It’s quite a juggle, but I love it, which is why I have created a life as an independent marketing consultant. Plus, I have my routines that build a scaffolding around me, creating energy and resilience for more intense periods. This is when meditation, nutrition, nootropics, breathwork and my workouts really deliver. And I love every second of my jam-packed calendar with the wind in my hair.

Books Read:

While in London, I treated myself to a visit to Foyles and a few Penguin classics and discovered a delightful Spanish author, Javier Marias.

My morning book this month was on the subject of cellular biology. My goal is to increase my energy, and to be able to do that, I need to know and understand the body down to its building blocks. Now I’m looking for a book that delves deeper into the function of the mitochondria.

Courses

I started a new course at Vanderbilt in the subject of Trustworthy generative AI, which is the last course in The Generative AI Leadership & Strategy Specialisation that I am taking. I’ve noticed that there are many AI experts out there nowadays, and I want to add courses and certifications to my self-studies and experiments with AI. I want my clients to trust that I am educated, updated and have learned from the very best.

Wellness

I’m doing hot yoga/bikram yoga when possible. Which I feel motivated to do, both from a physical, spiritual and mindfulness perspective. Each session, I get 1% better, and that is motivating enough for me.

I’ve added Breathwork to my lunch hours when possible at my yoga studio. This is when designing your life makes a real difference, as I live close to my office, and the office is even closer to my yoga studio of choice.

To mix it up, I’ve done Barry’s bootcamp before heading into the office, especially when it’s a more hectic period, as it gives me a cognitive boost for the day. Love the 6.25 AM session.

Supplements:

Urolithin-A: I can’t say that I notice anything too noticeable as yet. The only thing I can say is that my recovery time is slightly faster. During my time in London, I preferred walking, which meant I walked over 25 km every day.

I considered visiting an IV clinic in London while I was there to do a glutathione drip. I decided against it while I was in the city, as I wanted to explore what benefits I could gain from the Urolithin-A before adding anything new.

Podcast

tony_robbins_podcastThe podcast that I just had to save this month was Tony Robbins’ Untold Story of His Childhood with Randall Kaplan. It’s immensely gripping and inspiring to listen to. Highly recommended, as it provides insight into the adversity Tony Robbins faced from a young age and how he, despite this, created a life for himself and his family. And a career and legacy of helping so many people around the world. Highly, highly recommended. I will listen to this time and time again.
